A passenger on Maries plane makes a post.....

This is Maries Mom.  I have a dear neighbor who saw this post on a missionary board and sent it to me.  It is from a mother going to pick up her son from his mission, and she was on Maries plane that went to Argentina.  I must admit tears flowed freely after we spoke with her before her plane left, but this tells me that sweet girl got on the plane with her doubt not fear not attitude and began her work.  Love you Marie!

This is the email-
We just boarded our plane in Atlanta heading to Buenos Aires. There are at least 40 missionaries on the plane with us!  It is amazing. Most are going to Resistencia and Buenos Aires and just two (Elder Zelaya and Sister Hickman) going to Rosario. Moms, you would be so proud of them. They are already visiting with other passengers and sharing the gospel. Some are using their Spanish skills. It is a beautiful sight. I have never felt so safe on an airplane.  I have taken lots of pictures and will take more during the flight. I will also collect emails and try to send pictures directly

I wouldn't be surprised if some spontaneous hymn singing breaks out. This is an experience I will treasure forever.

A beautiful follow up email from Sister Welsh-

We met your daughter. She is beautiful. I have two good pictures of her smiling ear to ear.  I have been trying to send them with my iPhone but I must be doing something wrong. I will keep trying. So watch for them.  I will send a third picture that you can't see your daughter in, but she was there. The picture shows two sister missionaries looking over the back of their seats on the plane. They were talking to a gentleman and a woman we assumed was his wife sitting behind them. My husband and I watched them engage this man and woman in conversation for nearly the whole two hours our plane was delayed....in Spanish. They even pulled out their scriptures. We were so impressed.  We could only see the back of the woman's head from where we were sitting. Later in the flight the woman stood up and walked to the back of the plane and we realized that it was actually your daughter. We laughed because that man was completely surrounded by these three lovely, enthusiastic, sister missionaries and appeared to be loving every minute of it.  I was so impressed that I told my husband that any one of those three girls would be a perfect candidate to be my son's eternal companion. So when you see that third picture, look for the back of your daughter's hair and know what is going on.  She is going to be a great missionary....she already is.
