Miracles find you!

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!! My comp is  MEXICANA so shes goin a little crazy down here in Argentina. :) Were gonna try to find a mexican restaurant. :)

WOW!! I know I always say this week was full of miracles... BUT THIS WEEK WAS FULL OF MIRACLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and Hermana Torres have been praying and fasting for while now because we have one thing on our mind. FIND INVESTIGATORES.

What mom told me has really made an impact on me. She told me, there are people who God has prepared for us to find and teach the gospel. The people who wanted to learn of Jesus... CAME TO HIM. THEY FOUND JESUS....and I need to live by faith that those ready will come to us. 

And Im here to tell you ITS ACTUALLY POSSIBLE TO LIVE THAT WAY.  Last Sunday we had NO investogadores come to church. During sacrament I prayed to Padre Celstial y le pregunte if we could find someone who is prepared.AFTER SACRAMENT this random guy comes up to us and introduces his mother in law who lives here but shes from Peru.

PERU PEOPLE!

 

AND HER NAME IS..... LILI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Oh my heavens---------LILI is an angel sent from above. I literally could see huge arrows pointing to this woman. SHE IS A CHOSEN INVESTIGATOR.

MI AMOR from Peru. Everything we´ve taught from Jospeph Smith to the book of mormon to repentance.. shes been 100% in. When I told her the story of Joseph Smith she started to cry and said I feel that this is right. This was part of Gods plan.

 I was dying! She always tells us, before I knew that there was something lacking in my life.. but I didnt know what? SHE KNOWS that its baptism in this church. She wants to come to know the Savior better. What a blessing she is to me and Hermana Torres. Her story is kind of amazing. 

 She was married and had three kids.  She divorced her husband because he had drinking problems. Well... hes kind of a psycho and tried to kill her. She was so close to dying. She told us that she prayed and asked God to help her live so that she can take care of her children. It was a miracle that she survived. She still doesnt have feeling in her right arm and in her hands. BUT its amazing that she is alive. She said from that day on she promised God that she would do everything she could to follow him. What better way to do that then baptism? I cried. This woman is a woman of faith. She is a woman of courage and woman of love. I felt the presence of ANGELS. NO JOKE. There were angels surrounding the three of us.

I felt impressed to give her my testimony. I told her that when I opened my call and read that I was going to Argentina I felt the spirit soo strong because I knew that God has prepared his children in Argentina to hear his message.. I told her Hermana, I know with all my heart that you are a person that God put in my path. I told her God brought her to us!  And that its an honor to know her. She truly is a woman that loves our Heavenly Father. I could see her all in white in the temple. Later I told my comp that I could see her in the temple and my comp was like.... I THOUGHT THE SAME THING!!

God is truly amazing. THIS IS HIS WORK. NOT OURS! What we do is easy. All we need to do is follow the spirit.

 

 

Lili will be baptized this Sunday. :)

Every morning for comp study we always been singing hymns. And we've started singing in English to help my comp with her amazing English. (fam i cant wait for you to her hear:)) anyways this morning we sang how great thou art and this verse hit me so hard. I LOVE THIS SONG soo much. :)

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
